    Ho Lee chit!
    Can I come over?

lol - No clue when I'll open this. Probably will make him do a return visit so he can taste it (lives in NY - where we are originally from). This is the first time he's come down since we moved 3 years ago. I guess this bottle makes up for it.

Only way he got it is b/c he knows an owner of a shop. The owner sold it to him at retail with the promise that he would never resell it.

I just bought one of these just because I saw it here first! Lol. I’ll give a full report soon!!!!! Well I just noticed a difference. Mine is just labeled small batch and where your fonts are green mine is red. I guess it’s not the same?
Not a he same, but good, nonetheless.
If you can find the red scripted Single Barrel, buy it. It is fucking great.

Still not 100% what Bottled in Bond means. All I know is the McKenna 10yr BiB is a damn fine bourbon.

Bourbon Vs. Bourbon: Did Whiskey Really Taste Better in the 1800s?
If you ship whiskey on a river, does it taste better? We wanted to know, so we ran an experiment.

There’s an old story in the whiskey world: Before trucks and bottling lines, all American whiskey was aged and shipped in barrels, soaking up flavor as it sloshed down the Mississippi River. Eventually, people took a particular liking to the barrels marked “Bourbon County, Kentucky.” They started clamoring for “bourbon.” And that’s how that whole thing got started.

Flavor is highly over rated. Manly men drink strictly for he buzz. John Wayne and I will take a shot of redeye in a dirty glass. The key is to hold the breath till the hooch is safely in the tummy. Then start breathing again. There ya go.
