Just below the panhandle of Texas
several months ago I had found a strawberry ice cream recipe that seems to be a hit in the house. Lately I've been getting requests for more so I started last night and made the regular batch and then experimented with a smaller batch (just in case the experiment was a flop.)

However, Sour cream strawberry ice cream seems to be a hit too. So I'll be keeping that recipe also.

Here's a few pictures just because I'm fairly pleased with the results. These are of the regular batch. The sour cream batch is in a quart container in the freezer.

A while back I made an avocado ice cream with avocados from the valley in south texas and it was wonderful. It really is fun to experiment.
