Hopefully a legit jacket at least as well.

And, jeans will only last a few yards sliding on pavement, then it's your skin.

Slider jeans....I forget what they were called. (might've been called sliders?)

    I wore Kushitanis

I wore Fieldsheer, but not a suit, jacket and pants, although they zipped together for the track.
Perforated for summer, and non-perforated for winter.
Much more comfortable on the street.

    I want a Shoei.

After hours of searching and researching. I came across a thread in some random motorcycle forum.

    Somebody listed this,

    https://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com

Here's a major retailer's big price for a top rated Shoei RF-1200. One of the top five helmets of 2018.

    https://www.revzilla.com/shoei-rf-1200-helmets

Average $500 for one with decent graphics.

Back to the first sight listed,

    https://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/insanity/37459

Same helmet but in a close out graphic. $388.88. The absolute cheapest a Shoei RF-1200 can get.

    Ordered in a large.

    Good find!

Did you at least try some helmets on at the dealer, or somewhere?
In order to do a size check.

I've tried on an older Shoei. My head measures 23.5. Shoei sizes are suppose to be true. Their large go's to something like 23.7. Intermediate Oval. I triple checked the size. Medium doesn't fit. XL is too big. Looking up the discontinued graphic. Retail was $560. That's some expensive $hit.

The GF's car is stuck in park and in the road out front the house. 2008 dodge avenger.

Dodge has a recall for the gear shifter interlock. Some plastic piece and a spring. The spring breaks off and the car won't shift.

She said dodge did the recall. Before I tear in the car. I got her calling the dodge dealership. It's probably $10 in parts. If they say no. Ill rig a spring.

Looking it up. A run to Lowe's has the parts.

It's an easy fix but man....Dodge will pi$$ off the morning.

They use that same piece on pretty much everything. Never had it break on the SRT8 Charger I drove for 10 years, but a friend's 300 broke and left her stuck at home.

Dodge said they did the recall in 2010. The dealer said they won't do it again. Call Chrysler.

Lol, Basturds said the part is $400. Lying MF'ers.

Ill fix it myself. Sorry Dodge.

My wife bought me a very basic Bell for cheap. It did its job when I went down in 07. My helmet/head hit a rock wall and I’m sure it hit the pavement several times as I tumbled to a stop.

Just wear something! I can’t understand the guys that won’t wear helmets.

If I make a run to 7/11. A mile round trip. I wear a ball cap and shorts. Past 7/11 on the service road, highway or down town. I'm suited up. Jacket, helmet, blue jeans. It's not about me wrecking. It's about getting hit by some douche lady texting away...

The pink piece only locks the shifter in park until you hit the brake pedal, that's it. It won't cause a no-start condition, sounds like you have other issues to sort out.

The shifter is all there. You can see the metal tab they used to fix the cheap plastic spring anchor.

The key isn't connecting to the ecm.

This basturd has to go to the dealer for them to skim the key. Everything is right with the shifter.

The car started and shifted into reverse. The car died and she sticks it back in park. Car won't start.

It's the key or the module that communicates with the key.

It's raining cars. Got an email about the Suzuki. A gentleman has offered a 2002 CLK Mercedes Benz.

This is an example photo. An expensive to fix snooty German car that needs a LS1 stuck in it. We'll see what pictures they send me. Big plus being a two door sedan.

When I was in my 20s, I'd cruise to SA wearing shorts & flip flops, lol.

    What a maroon.....
