Her mating flight is a ‘once in a lifetime event’ for her. Well, come to think of it, the same can be said for the males too! She mates with as many as ~13-17 males during that one mating flight. So, you might say, “she’s filled up” for a lifetime (which, for the Queen bee, can be as long as about ~4 years).

So many jokes to be made....

I once called the cops on my own party so i could go to bed

You aren't all that uncommon. I worked a non-sworn position at the local PD in college and we dealt with parties quite a bit. I think there'd be at least one call a weekend of residents calling the police on their own party to help get it broken up.

I came home drunk one night & used my dads denture cream to brush my teeth... talk about trying to figure out what you ate in the middle of the night when you wake up in the morning.

In some engines, such as the Powerstroke 6.7, Ford uses crank bearings that are coated with a polymer rust.

That's right. Your Ford may come from the factory with rust in it. Surprisingly, this polymer rust coating reduces friction by 50% .

After having years of troubles with their Navistar diesel engines, Ford started from scratch in 2008 and started designing their own diesel engine. This project resulted in the release of the 6.7 Powerstroke in 2011. This engine is one of the most original diesel engine designs on the market.

Among its unique designs are the application of two separate coolant systems, intakes on the outside and exhaust manifold in the middle, a dual scroll turbo charger, an engine block made of compacted graphite iron (brings the weight of the 6.7 to below that of the 6.4), six head bolts per cylinder, and the use of Piezo fuel injectors.

Before chicks hatch, they turn in the shell so that their right eye is next to the shell and their body covers the left eye. Once they hatch their right eye develops near-sightedness, which allows them to search for food, while the left eye develops far-sightedness, allowing them to search for predators from afar. That is why when a bird of prey flies overhead, chickens tilt their heads with their left eye up to the sky.

There is a real reason why manhole covers are round.

No, it isn't so you can roll them to move them. That is a little bonus.

There is no way to drop the cover into the hole. There is no angle that allows it to fit.

Any other shape hole and the cover could be turned in such a way that it could fall through.

A triangle could accomplish the same thing... but you'd poke your eye out, kid.

Nope. You could put one corner of the triangle lid downhole and then the rest could follow. The ONLY shape where it can't go downhole without failure of either the cover or the hole is a round cover.
