Again, it's all subjective, shoot as many guns as you can and then find out what you like and get it and don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise. Those top ten lists are b.s. so the fact the SW M and P isn't on there doesn't mean crap.. shoot EVERY full sized pistol you can find and choose the one YOU like the best, but shoot a Canik first ;-)

Lots of good choices, but it all comes down to what you want in a 9mm. Reliability can come in many forms.

I've got the CZ 75B Omega in Urban grey & suppressor ready. it's a great shooting pistol. Plus if you want rails you can get the SP series ... if you want plastic frame to save weight they have the P series. Lots of choices for them.

Thank you for some good reading. I am going to toss the FNX9 out of the running. My top 3 now are CZ SP01, XDM and PPQ.

I think I am leaning more towards the XDM now than others.

So I guess, no other guns ever had any issues? How many times did this happen that wasn't set up to discharge? Have they not fixed this?
