OK, since some people hate to see other people have a good day, I’ll go ahead and get this started. So for the first half of my good day, I traded for this little beauty today. Ruger GP100 in 357 Magnum.

Inland M1 carbine. 1944 stock, 1943 bbl. My wife's grandfather carried one of these in the Battle of the Bulge. I'm going to give it to her dad for his birthday next month. He's always wanted one.

I don't know much about them. This one was from an estate sell. Came with 4 mags and two vintage mag pouches.

I bought 2 Garands two years ago and got away with it because I told my wife I would give one to her dad. I still have 2 Garands. He will finally get the M1 he always wanted.

Scored a Marlin 1894C (1997 vintage) while looking for a Hi Point Carbine at the local pawn shop. No pic - yet - 'cause I threw it into layaway while I wait for today's deposits to clear.

Searching for the Hi Point may become a new hobby. I've been looking for the right .357 Marlin for more than 2 years - so thanks Hi Point for failing to score a stocking dealer in Houston.
