    The camera settings was set on bulb with the shutter being left open for 30-40 seconds.
    I have just scratched the surface on long exposures.
    I got lost in long-exposure night-time photography for a couple of years when I was a kid. I'd be out all night running around hillsides firing electronic flashes (and sometimes 2B bulbs) to light scenes. I committed various reciprocity failure tables to memory because they were a pain to read by flashlight. I was in deep.

    I said that to say this - It's a fascinating thing to do but, if you don't watch out, it can rob you of more money and sleep than you can spare. Beware.

    That's the best part about it. We have 3 kids... and the oldest is 5. So we don't have either one of those.....
