    That place east of Waco....
She really doesn’t. And even though I’m really NOT an expert knife fighter... it’s kind of a sexist thing to question that I would know how to use a knife if I needed to defend myself with one.

I mean I’m sure I could learn some techniques but geez.
I'm pretty sure Lorena Bobbitt didn't have any formal knife-fighting skills , either......

"What knife did you carry today?????"

The same one I carry everyday. Gerber "Auto 06 - Tanto, Serrated"

Courtesy of my time in the USMC. We were in need of auto knives for our flight duties and requested Benchmarks but instead received the Gerbers. I didn't actually carry it in my flight suit as it weighs a ton but now it's my EDC knife. Thank you Texas for allowing auto knives a few years ago. These were issued knives that did not have to returned upon separation, lucky us. The auto spring on mine broke the other year and I sent it back to Gerber under their warranty program. They fixed it and returned it sharper than it was originally. I'm a fan.

I wish I had seen that before. For $175 bucks, made in the USA and has S30V for blade steel. It's a bargain.

I hadn't EDC'd a knife in years, until I bought this one a couple of weeks ago. Kershaw OSO Sweet.

At the farmer’s market one of the lady episcopal church pastors noticed I was carrying it and asked me if I knew how to use that “weapon.” I let her know that if I needed a weapon that this knife wouldn’t be my first choice. She was like “good to know.” I half think she was a bit judgmental though.

The organizer guy followed up by saying “yeah, it would be something with projectiles.”

I was getting change out of my pocket recently, and laid my keys and knife on the counter. The guy looked at me and asked what I planned to do with that knife. "hopefully open a box later on. Expecting Amazon later today. I use a much bigger one if it comes to a fight."

    He laughed.

I wore the new Case Knife to an event called “Honey Expo” (all kinds of honey and products, beekeeping education, mead) at the county fairgrounds. A County Sheriff’s detective asked me about what kinda blade I was carrying and explained he was a “knife guy.” I let him see it and he admired it and gave me a rec for a knife craftsman the next town over that he uses.

Just bought another Two Sun design China Made clone of something so that will be carried along with the OTF lightening knife I got as a gift last year.

On my key ring is a Spyderco Manbug British Racing Green FRN Zdp-189 PlainEdge. Very sharp and holds an edge very well. I also keep handy a Spyderco C90PGRE2 Stretch 2 Lightweight Green Folding Blade Knife for bigger jobs. That steel is hard and sharp!
