    We need pup pics.
    Ask and ye shall recieve:green:

We are coming to the end of the story line on the trail. Have a couple of "finish line" pics for tommorrow.

Full sized and able to get with it. Knockin out 20-25 a day with no problems. No pad problems, no muscular problems. She has taken a couple of tumbles off small ledges and took some knocks but learned kwick and her skills as a mountain goat are improving exponentially everyday at this point. She doesnt actually carry much of anything in her pack so as not to load her juvenile frame. Maybe a lead or such. Its mainly on her for the harness/Chase-can-carry-you safety capabilities of it. She is around
    4-5 months old right now.

    Must be mornin....grumpy Chase

Its Saturday....maybe a couple more cool pics on other adventures. Hope you enjoy. Just scenery, no Murph. More Murph tomorrow.

Younggun is still around. He is busy at work and with Summer here (kids out of school) doing family stuff.

Mexican Hippie has been MIA for a few years. Was made a Mod and didn't stick around much after that. Work had him busy when he faded out.

I suppose the Libtard forums don't have that problem as much since they don't believe in working.........

I was just coming back on here to pm YG and saw this looking for him. IF you talk to him, please tell him I still have his bi-pod.

Explain to a city dweller why you need to flush a well.
Basically from working on it. Any work done whether new or rehab is going to introduce some level of contamination into the well and it needs to be gotten rid of. (<__short version)

Comes out of the same aquifer.
Close...many many aquifers. On costs??? YMMV for sure.

Ok, how much electricity does your well use per month???
I make water for everybody. The thread has morphed to your private residential well.

My elec bill is around 15,000 a month.

If you add vitamin C to chlorinated water. It chemically converts it.
If you leave it exposed to the air it will dissapate in around 24-36 hours.

Very little, it only runs to fill the reservoir tank, so it would depend on usage. 1/2 hp motors don't take a lot of power to run.
Yaaa....and mine are 40hp and 75hp. Both are line shaft turbines.

Our original well was 66’ deep but when you pumped out too much, it had to recover.
MmmHmm...private wells. Mine are in the 550-600 foot range.

I would NEVER use a public water supply unless it was forced on me.
I make the best water available anywhere and am proud of my work...

...that being said, I understand EXACTLY what your saying (Flint).

So, was out in the back yard a while ago and noticed this.
I thought my grass had started growing more and realized it is something else, lol.
    Anybody know what it is?

We have used well water ever since I moved in to our place in Aug. 1977. Our original well was 66’ deep but when you pumped out too much, it had to recover. Drilled a new well that’s 125’ about 30’ away and no volume restrictions but it has a mild sulfur smell, so we filter what we drink. I would NEVER use a public water supply unless it was forced on me.

In Oklahoma, land owners have rights to 2 acre feet of water per acre of owned surface land.

I have a separate Electric Service and Meter on the well.

Cost: ~$17/month (months before freezing temperatures).

Cost: December, January and part of February) ~$100/month when using an electric heater in the Well House. I used to use a 75 watt incandescent light bulb. It worked and it was cheaper, but my Wife feels more secure with the heater.

The pump is a 1/2 hp, 220VAC, Stainless Steel Submersible made by Grundfaus selected because the Motor Controls and Starting Capacitor are external (up in the Well House). Starting Capacitors have a higher failure rate than other components and Grundfaus’ design allows replacement without pulling up the pump from 120’ down the hole.

Waterline Length: (pump to well house to home) is 1” PEX buried about 2’. The total length of waterline is about 500’.

On our place I’ve used both Jet Pumps and Submersible Pumps, but I’ve also repaired the Lift Pump on my Wife’s family’s Cattle Ranch a few times. By a wide margin of advantages, I recommend a good Submersible System. If you are considering having a well drilled, I also recommend having it ‘Cased’ all the way to the bottom as a precaution against a cave in. It costs more, but once it’s paid for you’ll forget about the difference.....

My water bill runs ~$40/month. I ran all the numbers on a well vs city water when I moved out here 12 yrs ago and my pocketbook said city, by a large margin. I'm still way ahead of the game.

Take a WD40 can, a toy doll, and a paper back book. Tape.

Tape the can to the doll. Include the book spread open to cover the back side. I strapped the can to the back of the doll.

Set the book on fire and let it burn for a short while. Hotter the can the better the boom. When you think it's heated. Send a bullet at it.

You see videos of folks shooting propane tanks. It's never heated up. Waste of money.
