Late to the party. So I'm a huge nuge fan. Always was. Even at a young age. Aside from him being so pro 2a, he's got great music.

    Some of my favorites:

    In the U.K., he's exotic.

Boy George once said that you could top the charts in England singing "God Save the Queen" with a teapot on your head. They like novelty acts over there. Most disappear after their 15 minutes of fame. Seasick Steve has done a little better; he still gets booked to festivals with some regularity. However, his star is way down after his first 2-3 years of very odd success over there.

I seen him on Late Night with Jules one night a few years & have always liked the bluesy slide guitar sound & thought he had a cool sound. Ended up getting his first 2 CD's. He's definitely an EXOTIC...lol, with a cool story.

Did you know he used to be a studio musician in the 80's.

    I don't doubt it.

I give him great props for figuring out that he could change his look, create a character, trot it out to the public, and move from the studio to the stage. That's a dream for pretty much every studio musician and he found a way to make it a reality. Good for him.
