Bullshit. This guy was in an argument with a woman when he was physically assaulted to a degree where he reasonably feared for his life. The true guilty party is the guy who ended up with a round in his chest, as he was getting ready to assault the guy on the ground again after already doing so. He did not cause the situation to escalate to that point, he was merely telling the woman she was illegally parked.
what part is BS ?
What video were you watching Max? The video I saw, and it would seem a large majority of people saw, the guy backs off after the initial shove, AND backs off further when the gun is drawn. He never made another aggressive movement after the initial shove. And the Shooter certainly did escalate things. "Merely telling the woman she was illegally parked" would have been a simple friendly "hey, you can't park here", not the arms waving yelling we see in the video.
The part you wrote.
The Texas standard complies with the national ADA standard, and signage is not that specific.

"Each accessible parking space shall be designated as a reserved space with a sign showing the symbol of accessibility."
When I took my CHL, my instructor gave a scenario
"You pull up in your drive way & see your front door is partially open, you step out the vehicle & walk towards the door... intruder comes running out of the house & throws the TV at you as he's running away... do you have the right to shoot him?
He said you have ever right to shoot, but can you beat the court case.
That defense worked for Joe Horn in Pasadena, TX. Even after he told the 911 operator, "I'm gonna kill 'em!".The "prevent the person from fleeing" in 9:42 is an "AND" clause that doesn't justify preventing the fleeing just to stop the fleeing...
