    Someone correct me if I have posted this on the wrong forum.

    I have been reading a book by Commander Mark Bowlin, USN (RET). The subject is the call up of the 36th Texas National Guard Division in WWII. The title is "The Texas Gun Club". It is fiction, but, it is so realistic that it makes you feel like you were there. And, there are 4 books in his series if one gets real tied up in it.

    The Big Country
    I almost transferred from Navy to Army. The Navy was overmanned and they offered this new Blue to Green program. I could handle giving up a pay grade or 2, but I drew the line at getting a frontal lobotomy.
