I initially checked power to the compressor, and there was none. Checked power to the fuse, and it was present in and out. From there I told him his most likely culprit the control panel.

This just has me pissed cause first off, I didn't even want to look at his truck, and now he's coming at me like he outsmarted me because it's working - yet he doesn't even know what a compressor clutch is!

I told him he's probably got a loose connection in his control panel. Now I'm hoping that shit quits on him again.

Could it have misfiring so bad the anti-stall was kicking in. That shuts off the compressor.

Wife said her Jeep was overheating in traffic. Of course she just went ahead and drove it home instead of stopping

I checked it out and the coolant was low. Topped it off, fired it up, and noticed this...

Stupid plastic radiators... at least they aren't expensive. Hopefully she didn't warp the heads or anything. Probably not since those 4.0L are nigh unkillable.

Wife did that to a ford ranger years ago. Still ran. But when the motor warmed up, it turned into a serious fog machine.

I had a leaky water pump in my Foxbody Mustang. Drove it 20'ish miles home with NO water in it, hoping to kill the motor so I'd have an "excuse" to build a new one. Wouldn't you know it, the thing lived, so I replaced the pump and ran it for a couple more years with no issues. Even a particularly nasty nitrous backfire didn't hurt it. Blew the factory plastic intake tube to shreds, but didn't hurt the motor.

Some JB weld for plastic will fix that

Mental note. In store pick up takes a long time. The hoist doesn't show until tomorrow. The only TSC store in the area not to have it.

Ordered more Honda 10w30. Gallon jug. The bike takes exactly 3quarts. By the 4th oil change Ill have 3 quarts saved up.

Estimating when Ill install the bigger rear sprocket. Hopefully Friday. Definitely Saturday.

    ....

Showed a neighbor that even though the battery is in the trunk of her dodge challenger. It has jumper cable hook ups under the hood. And she thought I was going to use one of my rides to jump start an old Ford truck she also owns.

Nope. Let me show something. You can use your own pretty car to hook to the POS with the corroded everything.

That's why I keep one of these in both cars. I won't hook up my car to some POS if I can help it.
