I thought I heard Rush Limbaugh say something about the dianne feinstein letter from Kavanaugh accuser was withheld for so long because she might have received a letter from the same woman about Gorsuch a while ago.

I was 'half-paying-attention' when this was on the radio.

    Anybody hear this??

Couple things. I think we’re about to see if there’s any real substance to Ms Ford. She has been “invited” to testify (not subpoenaed) in front of the subcommittee - she would be under oath. Her lawyer says she’ll do it. I’m betting she won’t - there’s only “downside” to it and virtually no upside for her. Republicans would really grill her and make her appear the complete fool (with her lack of details and inability to recall basic information). Plus testifying “under oath” can create its own very real potential legal problems for her.

Secondly, Feinstein is zero’d in like a laser beam on attacking the FBI for refusing “to investigate” (along with Schumer making the same call). Per her plan AND intention, it was never about getting Ford to testify; it was always about creating further delay by creating an FBI investigation! When the FBI initially told her they weren’t going to open an investigation, Feinstein had basically lost her bid to cause further long term delay. (And she’s PO’d about it!).

The FBI is doing the right thing here. There are no Russians. There is no collusion. The left is using allegations to impede the process. Innocent until proven comes to mind.

McConnell needs to man up, get the RINO's in line and hold the vote.
Those two lady Senators - one from Maine & other one from Kansas, IIRC - are 100% RINO. They may not be the only RINOs but they’re the two most egregious offenders. Their home state constituents need to ‘correct’ that situation! But I doubt they ever will - McCain sure survived in Arizona an awfully long time as a RINO. But I agree, McConnell could and should do more to heard the cats in the right direction!

All of this horseshit going on and the leftists can still cry with a straight face that the Democrats in Congress play too nicely.

These Republicans needs to grow a damned spine already.

Maybe, just maybe, McConnell is crazy like a fox. He keep feeding out rope to make sure they have enough to hang themselves. He's no beginner to DC politics. If they have Ford on the stand Monday, which I don't think will happen, she will get slaughtered. She will come across as what I think she is and then if the RINO's wouldn't have any choice but to go party line or look like the idiots the Dems just proved they were.

    Gonna be interesting.

Her lawyer has now changed her tune (see the linked article, post #215). She’s now saying Ms Ford “is not prepared to testify Monday”. She’s now parroting Feinstein’s call to have the FBI open an investigation. Which is what this has ALWAYS been about! (As a delaying tactic only).
