It really is disturbing that many lefties will hyper-sexualize things intended for children. I don't know about y'all, but I never considered or would have had the mindset to consider the sexuality of ANY muppet when I was a kid.

Okay, Bert and Ernie were puppets in male form, Kermit was a sexless male frog, and Miss Piggy was an oversexed sow. What's the problem? Oh wait, I know what it was, who gives a flying pchuckstick what sex any of them were, weren't, might be, or might not be. I was watching a two gunned Yosemite Sam feller chasing a smart azzed rabbit while some Fudd dude was huntin' fer wabbits and ducks. While simultaneously hoping the engineering marvel of coyote would catch that roadrunner and choke the livin' chitts outta him. And wondering if the lil' Martian guy was ever going to meet the chipmunks or cook that overstuffed rooster for dinner.

I believe that many of the older Warner Bros. cartoons were actually geared towards adults rather than children. I certainly liked them as a child, but didn't really get many of the messages they had until I was an adult. As for Sesame Street, they at times kept my kids quiet for hours, so I have a hard time slamming them.

It always pissed me off that Wiley never caught the Road Runner.

Then I find out as an adult that coyotes are faster than roadrunners. My childhood was a lie.

Oh heck yes. Tex Avery's cartoons were full of sexual innuendos. The guy behind the counter seeing a pretty girl walk in - cash register pops open.
