Welcome, remember fishing lake Livingston boatless many many years ago. Caught some pretty decent fish.

Younger brother and I were fishing a dock at night when a great blue heron made it's nightly visit to roost. He didn't expect us and we for sure didn't expect him. I was luckier than my brother, as this bird had cupped its wings and was trying to land right it fromt of him!!! Scared the crap out of both of them.

Howdy. Angelina County, up late, and up early, but that looks like the Lufkin area. Man, I wish they would open up the gun range down there on Sunday. It was about the only day I had to do some shooting, and they have LONG distance range. I wanted to make sure my 6.5 Creed was on. The new Burris Eliminator I have, didn't have it, so I had to figure out the grain and all the statistics for the Hornady ELD. I wanted to see if I did it right. As I recall that was at least a 1k feet range.

I like the Just the facts Ma'am, RobertC1024. That is very familiar to me. When one of my kids comes to me with a problem, I just tell them, "Just tell me what actually happened. I will go to bat for you, but with just the facts. I don't need embellishment." I remember friends that were Acting Supervisors that assumed guilt before facts. When I was an Acting Supervisor (a lot), I wanted the facts, before I made a decision. I hated the fly off the handle before the facts were in. That seemed counter productive.
