There are stipulations based off industry and how the parking lot is setup.

A dog can pick that up. And I know I’ve seen the policy. I’ve seen employers stipulate that as a condition of working there, you must allow them to search your car...

    In reality, this pure insanity.

In the 30.06 offices, they tell us to run, hide, fight. Yeah, so anyone who knows these businesses, knows it is a shooting gallery and no one can fight back. If someone wants to shoot up a place, that little sign is not going to deter them, as they are already intent on breaking the law.

My son’s company encourages concealed carry on campus and there are signs warning people to that effect. No one would want to go off there.

News flash. Wrongful dismissal suits have been filed and won even in "at will" states.
Then they don't have very smart people in personnel. They can fire you because they don't like your attitude, good luck with that suit.

And companies making up a false reason for dismissal is one of the ways that folks win those suits.

Don't argue with me, argue with the courts/juries.

I believe the law regarding right to work state reads “you can be let go at any time for any reason, but not for no reason or any reason prohibited by law.”
At least where I work that is how it is written.
