I pulled the cover off and went for a short back roads cruise today. Between the rain and work I haven't been able to do anything else with it. Nice finally take the top off and enjoy the great weather!

Yes, but I haven't had a Facebook for about 7 years. The GF has a Facebook page. Ill go through that.
I bet if you were to post it in the Sweet Rides group someone would jump on it pretty quick. There's gotta be a million local Camaro group as well.

If you want to get top dollar for it, take lots of really slick photos of it, do a thorough write up on it, have someone edit said write up, and post on bringatrailer.com

That looks like the market I need.

Eta; $99 for an auction. That's one way to weed out the junk. Looks a serious marketplace for the finer uncommon things. Most excellent.

Don't know why I didn't think about that.
I get an email from them every morning.

ETA: Not saying that you would, but don't try any tricks, lots of knowledgeable people browsing the site .

Changed oil and filter on the wife's Mazda CX-5. Calls for 0w20 oil which I had never heard of until we bought the Mazda. I know I bought a bunch of the drain plug washers last year, but can't find them. Had to get some more. Figure I saved at least $45 vs taking it to Jippy Lube or Kwack Kar.

0Wnn oils are getting more common with more accurate machining and tighter bearing tolerances. I had to do a double check first car I had that used it too (SRT8 Charger, used 0W40, 11 years ago).

Question for the TGT brain trust.

Besides craigslist and Offer Up, what are some of the more popular websites to list a car for sale? I don't care if it's free or costs something.

Bring a trailer. They have to approve your sale but they will really work with helping you sell it.

Washed the Expedition. I mean with hose, bucket, and ladder. That's a lot of real estate to cover. For some reason, the roof is always the dirtiest part. And it lives under a carport.

I keep looking at the Yamaha R3. A starter bike. I've found examples with super low miles.

It's the frame I like. Swing arm the most. I like how Yamaha did it. I'm looking purposely at small bores. The 300cc range tops out at around 200km. (175 give or take)

According to the frame, I can Bob it. Not much electronics behind the seat. Little bitty 300 that racks out at something like 14grand.

Here's the frame. There's not much behind the seat except a passenger seat and a tail light. The way they made it, it looks like it'd be easy to hide the cuts crime removing the section after the riders seat.

R1,R6, then the R3. Yamaha's smallest sport bike for the American market. They make 125 and 250 in the Asian market. A Honda CBR125R exists. Imagine that.

    Here's the R3.

I know exactly what an R1 and R6 are, that's why I asked if the R3 frame was different.
I had not seen one before.

You've seen one. They're a common bike. It looks like a R6 from a distance. Every want ads from here to Dallas has at least one. Even more common are the Ninja 300's. The want ads will have at least two.

    Average mileage is about 3000.

    Here's a video showing the top speeds of the 300's. (200km = 124mph, 175km = 108mph)

No offense to anyone, but based on what you (and I) know a sportbike to be, the R3 is not one.

I was wondering what purpose it would serve myself.
Some countries have displacement limits for new riders, but nothing like that here.

We've shifted gears. Think Kawasaki Ninja 400. It's the newest version of their small bore sport bikes. It's not much faster then the 300 but it uses frame technology from the H2. Trestle design. The 300 used a frame known as the diamond design. The 400 is an entirely different way of doing it.
