I love this genre of westerns. Clint Eastwood got his big break onto the big screen with doing several spaghetti westerns and they have become cult classics now. Henry Fonda even did a few as well.

    Rank your favorite spaghetti westerns.

    1) My Name is Nobody.
    2) The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
    3) Once Upon a Time in the West.
    4) Death Rides a Horse.
    5) Fistfull of Dollars.

    In the woods...
"Hang 'Em High" was my first date with my first wife, but "Good, Bad, Ugly" is my favorite spaghetti.
Same here, but you almost have to break it up.

I remember watching it back in the late '70's when it was the Late Night Movie. I made it through the first two hours, closed my eyes during a commercial about 30 minutes before the end and woke up to a test pattern!

Now you got me with that damn whistling theme in my head!!! Dang it!!!

    How bout:
    Hang Em High
    High Plains Drifter (my fav!)
    Or the harmonica playing!

Hang Em High and High Plains Drifter were not technically spaghetti westerns, but did use some similar filming styles and themes. Hang Em High was IIRC the first American western Eastwood did after his several spaghetti westerns.

    Semi-redundant threads merged.

If we're going to break out the sub-genres of Westerns, let's put 'em all in one authoritative thread.

    Westerns.
    Spaghetti Westerns.
    Sci-fi Westerns.
    etc.

I'm surprised this hasn't made the list yet.
