Sorry but I don't know how to link from my Apple crap but it was posted in the weekly gunsamerica blog. Clay whoever he is posted his review then there was a second review on how Federal donated rounds for shooting and in the comments section someone posted that the Ammo described was hot 40 and not true 10mm.

Either way I would imagine SA would replace the gun when it gives out but I imagine you'd have to provide proof(box flaps?)that you shot factory, as opposed to uncle Ned's special recipe!

    That one?

And They can complain all they want, that load is factory and what most people are going to buy, because its on the shelf. I love hearing people act like Buffalo Bore or Underwood or these other crazy boutique loads are 1) normal, 2) on the shelf at most stores, 3) what 99% of people are going to shoot/carry. Hell I like that they think 10mm is going to become a common round. Its back to being the flavor of the month because magazines need to sell us something. It was impractical when it was created and that doesn't change with time. If you want magnum performance buy a magnum round.

I made my share of nuclear loads and finally "dismantled" a g29 with them.

I like the flat shooting but I won't be putting any more LWD barrels in 10mm pistols.

We're going out next Tuesday and I'm bringing my g20s and my reframed g29 but we'll be shooting tamer loads.

I'll try to grab a pic of the blown G for y'all.

The 10mm, the true 10mm, makes a good hunting back up weapon. A bit more overpenetration than you want on a human, as it might just exit and enter another human. But, that can be said of most ball ammo.

What a beautifull gun the xdm series are. I was actually thinking about buying one in the 5.25. The only reason I did not buy it is that I found a glock 40 MOS new for 625. Brand new, never fired. It had a tiny scratch on it that I buffed out. The xdm 10mm 5.25 is still one that I want but I may be waiting a while to find a good used one.

I'm starting to consider trading one of my HKs for one.

Tuesday I shot some glocks in 10 and I'm so ready to get back to full 10mm loads!

    I'm an XD/M fan and can't wait. I saw a g41 for sale($500 IIRC)but I already have a longslide 45 and one in 10 so I'm ready for a Springfield one.

I'm one of those Buffalo Bore, and Underwood fanboys.
Every time I mention them I state that they generally are not found "on the shelf ", but must be ordered online.
Of off the shelf ammo, probably 90% are no hotter than .40S&W.
    Of course there are exceptions.

I haven't got a 10mm ........yet! But I want one. For now, I'll make do with with my Ruger Birdshead revolver in 45Colt. The Rugers are very strong and will handle my "blaster" handloads with big bullets!

I wish I could convert my XDm 5.25 to 10mm. I plan to convert it to 357sig, which I actually prefer over 10mm.

Also have a Para Ordnance P16-40 that I'd love to convert to anything lol.
