There is a cat sanctuary located in my subdivision.
It is just another house on the street, regular yard, etc.
It is owned by an elderly couple that live in the house.

It was "raided" by the SPCA, and other officials yesterday.
Police were used to serve a warrant to enter & remove all the animals.

They removed 235 cats. Over 100 cats were in the house
It took 7 workers 9 hours to get all the animals out.
Veterinarians were there to check on the animals, 205 of the cats
were sick.

The condition of the house & cats was so bad most of the workers were crying.

And I'll repeat, the couple lived in the house.

The elderly man made threats to neighbors & the workers, threatening to sue everybody.

It's been so wet around here that even the grass is changing to this strange color for Odessa..... green.

I have new next door neighbors. They used to live catycornerd to me and moved straight across the street.

I went into the old house and I about barfed from the smell. They have a couple of little dogs. I think I have seen those dogs outside maybe once or twice in nearly a year.

In good weather, I see them smoking outside. Really? I'd rather smell smoke than dog piss.

DAMMIT!!!! WTF?

I just realized my credit card payment was due on the 18th. My bill was $630.33. I sent a $500 and a $130.33 money order on the 9th. Dropped it in the slot INSIDE the post office for a 5:30 pm pick up.

I sent the total amount to avoid a finance charge. Now, I haven't even made a MINIMUM PAYMENT on time.

I now gotta sort this out, but EVERYTHING was out of my control. There WAS a $630.33 balance when I sent the payment. Right now, a $1074.28 balance which I'm sure they are going to charge me just shy of 25% interest on, plus a $47 late fee.

And people wonder why I drink.
