Oh I know this. I usually go for 2.5# for range/comp pieces and 3.5 for carry. This one was right at 2# on the initial assembly and then after a good polishing it came in 4 oz lighter. It is scary lite.That is kind of the point of a 1911, is the light trigger pull, that is why they are carried cocked and locked.
