I'm looking to do something similar but with freeze plugs

I was going to also, but decided not to because of the loss in tolerances with pressed freeze plugs. They arent going to be anywhere near as tight in specs as machined parts and you will get pretty bad shifting in point of impact. Thats why I went this route with machined parts.

    Looks really good.

I haven't had time to watch the 13 minute video yet .

Thanks. Yeah My first attempt at making a video turned into a 1.5 hour long video of pretty much they whole build recorded + detailed explanations of everything. Nobody was gonna watch that! so I just cut out chunks of the video and time lapsed it into 10 minutes, + couple mins of plinking.

    Middle of no where
I was kinda hoping to see what it took to get the Form 1 & SR# approved.
In the video it almost seems i just go buy parts on line & poof, I have a legal silencer.

    Looks like an illegal duck.
    Walks like an illegal duck.
    Quacks like an illegal duck.

    But hey.......

An innocent duck until proven a guilty duck.

I have faith that his/her subsequent vid will explain filling out a Form 1 (First!!!).
Just because you WANT a disclaimer in the video that notes that a Form 1 must be applied for and approved prior to proceeding with this build, doesn't mean you're entitled to same. For all you know, the OP has already done all that or might even be an FFL/SOT/Mfgr and entitled to make the suppressor and THEN file the form with BATFE. But he certainly doesn't have to explain that to you or anyone else other than the BATFE themselves. The subject matter of the video is the build and materials themselves, not the legal sidebars.

How boring these threads would be without all the nonessential, serpentine and superfluous sidebars!

    I don't take myself seriously.
    Nor should others.
