Got a turkey on the porch...I GOTTA get this smoker refurbished ASAP.

The little front "shelf" also holds up the main cooking grates, and the front of the smoker isn't straight, I'm tired of them dumping food!

A long time ago, I saw a baby possum on the front porch. It decided to live under the front porch. I see it now and then, (it's huge now), and feed it some cat food occasionally, as well as feed the possums and coons out back. He was on the porch last night when I went out during halftime to feed the boogers.

So I go around back to grab the bag of cat food out of the sunroom. It's on it's side, which I thought was odd, but didn't think too much about it. In the dark I could make out which end was the open one, so I go to grab it. I feel something big and furry.

I turn on the light and there is a possum halfway in the window with it's head buried in the bag. I walk over and shout: "HEY! HEY!......nothing. I start tapping the bag and finally the glutton backs out of the bag. ( I didn't realize the window was open that far.)

So, the possums are alive and well at the lodge.

I have huge possum and several large raccoons the come up on my patio every night to eat the leftover dry dog food. They don't even run off when I turn on the light. They just look at you like so what.

Last year in early May I drug out the smoker and started getting it ready to cook. Found a couple dried up baby possums in there. It appears they were placed inside, and maybe fed till they were too big to exit the hole.

Sounds like you're missing out on an opportunity to get some nice winter hats.
