Interesting question for you guys. I just bought a Glock 19, with the stock sights. The U notch in the back and the white dot sight in the front. My XD was on target when the dot was over the intended point of impact. I seem to shoot high with the Glock. Is the Glock POA/POI when the top of the sight is over the target or is it just me?

I plan on changing the sights and upgrading to some TruGlo FTX Pro or Trijicons on Black Friday.

    Any input is greatly appreciated

    Top of the dot.

HK also does the Dot over target. On Glock it's still old school American sight picture. Top of dot aligned with the top of the side post. Target on top of dot.

When you're shooting. Don't worry about the sights. Don't go OCD and make sure the sights are perfect before shooting.

Get use to seeing a blurred bunch of a sight picture within your view. Imagine the hole on the target where you want it before shooting or lining the sights up. See the hole before you shoot. In the place you pictured it.

Keep practicing until the bullet has 'eyes'. To where you can place the rounds where your center of vision is. Where you look, the bullet creates a hole.
