.....and, if you actually looked at Snow's record, you wouldn't see much difference between her and the Democrats. I prefer to examine each candidate and vote accordingly rather than hit the Big R Easy Button.....

The only reason that is the case is because people keep voting for crappy candidates because they believe that is the case. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

That said, not all 3rd party candidates are better. Many are just as bad as the major party candidates.

IMHO, Beto got far too many votes. We had better be diligent and get the heck out and vote in full force going forward. I waited in line on election day for over an hour but it was worth it. I'd bet that I was probably one of very few that voted R... downtown Austin.
