New to using shotguns for deer here. Wondering which has better accuracy, a rifled slug in a standard smooth bore 24" barrel, choke interchangeability. Or would I be better off with a slug barrel (rifled) shooting sabot?

Mossberg 500 12GA, deer <100 meters. Turkeys wanted in from time to time so trying to keep that in consideration as would be using turkey loads for those.

You can't beat a rifled barrel for slugs. The rifled sabot is more for if you can't get a rifled barrel or want to stay flexible with one barrel.
