Here's some commentary by none other then Mr. Rick Simpson. Rick Simpson is one of the more famous people when it comes to using cannabis for good health and dealing with cancer. His concoction is know as "Rick Simpson Oil".

For the users of CBD oil. It's worth a read. If you ever wondered about Rick Simpson Oil. There's lots of info on it. Enclosed is a video on how to make it.

In the article, Rick describes that it's other chemicals in cannabis that fight cancer. It's not just CBD.

I am for any medicinal uses of CBD or THC but then you get twenty somethings using Ocare to get a script for it.

Que all the professionals to start posting how they smoke MJ with no issue whatsoever.

I don't have a problem with CBD, it's kinda like taking the alcohol out of beer. THC on the other hand is like taking beer out of the alcohol. I'm not going to dispute the medical properties, I've seen their results. That doesn't mean that people that are constantly high should do things ( i.e. operate vehicles, handle firearms...) as those that are not, just like someone that's constantly drunk shouldn't either.

The girlfriends daughter came down for a couple of days. During some discussion she brought up her father uses CBD oil.

Talk about a culture shock. This guy is a straight arrow veteran. Tucks his shirt in. The type that virtue signals too. "I'm all for it but you shouldn't do X".

Never in millions years would I had guessed this guy was using a cannabis extract. Now he's a stoner...right(?).

Honestly, I would care less about the whole thing but there's really one glaringly huge problem.

Cannabis aficionados are a lot like crossfit'ers, vegans, or gay pride marchers. They don't feel complete until they drive you nuts trying to push their story on you - and they simply can't shut up about it.

I believe if you get 'stoned' off it, that maybe can be considered a 'stoner'.

So I'm at the local convienience store when I overheard something. An over the counter wonder drug opiate replacement. So I bought a bottle. Still haven't tried it, due to new medications and needing to research it a bit more.

Anyway, it's called Kratom. The bottle I got is Maeng Da, the most potent red vein variety.
Anyone else heard of this? Unlike CBD, this stuff also alters you mentally. ( In a GOOD way.) WAIT!!!! That's what all the skitzers and dopers say about their drugs. IDK....After I settle into my new meds, and have a day to waste, ( if this stuff messes me up so I don't feel confident leaving the house), I'll give it a shot.

Well you or the article mentioned THC, hence my reply. Sure use all the CBD oil you want, I don't care but don't kid yourself that the promotion of CBD oil is not a promotion to legalize MJ for all. Heck I have a HS friend and his wife is a doctor and she promotes the benefits of CBD at the store she owns in Fl.

I have mixed feelings about pot. I don't believe it's the so called "gateway drug" that it has been termed. I would hate to see towns and cities degrade like Boulder, Co. has, but I haven't seen evidence it's more harmful then alcohol, physically. I have seen the results as a pain reliever, and that was evidence to me as a medicinal purpose. I've heard, but can't say I've seen evidence, that it cures certain ailments. So medicinally I am all for it.

I do believe that the money spent over the decades to eradicate it has been fruitless, much like the days of prohibition of alcohol, Therefore I lean towards controlling it like alcohol.

I guess the question is, is that better or worse than being an opioid user/addict?

I would rate pot lower than alcohol as far as how disruptive it is to society, but the .gov has done a great job vilifying it over the years.

The same .gov that holds patents to medicinal uses for pot, also claims there are no medicinal uses for pot.

    Interesting...

If I can sit down after the end of the day and have some beers... or cocktails. I should be able to smoke a bowl.

The pharm companies are just as evil and corrupt as the politicians in America.

MJ has had a bad rap since hemp was going to be the "new paper standard". It hasn't changed and it'll be tough to turn the tide.

But honestly.... as long as my stock does good, I don't care.
