    Ok kids,

I've got an HK 91 I purchased in 1979. I haven't shot it in years. I've got a slug of mags and small stuff for it, I still have the original sling around here somewhere.

I'm really thinking of selling it. I lost the box long ago. It's had maybe 500 rounds through it.

If there's any interest in it I'll gather everything up and take some pictures.

These are actually selling on Gunbroker in the $3k range. If I decide to sell I'm thinking around the $2200 range.

    So, any interest?

If you still have it by January pm me. I will even offer you more than 2200.

I'm guessing yours has the blue/grey finish and not the HK black?

I had 2, and sold one a few years ago for $5,200. Actually the guy traded me 3 pistols, 2 rifles, and a shotgun for it. Then later on he offered me $10 each for 20 mags to go with it.

I apologize for my earlier comment. In January I will be committed to another transaction on here while getting into a new truck. Big month. Good deal on a good rifle. If by March or April you still have it I want to talk. Once more, very unprofessional what I did.

A couple of guys were walking the Saxet show early this year with two pristine HK91s asking 4000 for both.

I offered 3600 for the pair and he said no.
I lost track of him and two hours later I saw a buddy with both of them....picked up for 3200 total.

Always interesting swap-meet the shows are.

I cannot find any on Gunbroker that actually sold other that a very suspicious one for 4200!

    It's great classic battle rifle.
Don't sell it unless you must.

The availability of quality clones has really driven down HK prices in recent years, to the point that pre-ban Greek guns aren't much more than new PTR-91s.
I'd love to get a real HK, but just can't budget it right now.

Just to make ya drool. I've got 20 mags for it. That PWS compensator isn't made any longer.

I know it's a great rifle. But it's damn hard on brass and I reload. To tell the truth I haven't fired it in over two decades. There are several on Gunbroker that have sold if you use the advanced search feature.

Up for grabs is one of the classic main battle rifles of the last century. I've had this rifle since I bought it new back in 1979. I've put less than 500 rounds through it during that time. I haven't fired it in over 25 years. I reload and these rifles are damn hard on brass....if you can find it.

It has the HK port buffer installed. 20 magazines. PWS compensator is installed but the original flash hider is in the PWS package. I've got the original sling, a German mag carrier, and manual.

The scope mount is a knock off as is the scope.

    I'm not interested in trades...unless it's a Dillon 650 + cash.

    Doesn't help the flutes.

Gotcha. The flute markings are usually superficial unless the timing is off and too much gas is blowing back. Sounds like hot ammo and LP is unlocking too early if it's doing that much damage.
I don't reload, but out of the ten or so Roller locking guns I have, they all just leave powder residue in the flutes from unlocking with an occasional ding in the brass.

Mine dings every brass shell it throws out. I reload 308, but I don’t even pick those up.
