I'm already unhappy about the "Warnhinweise beachten" and "Read User Manual Before Use" stamps on some of my guns, I just can't with "grip zone", "trigger zone" and "bullets come out of this hole zone" stamped all over it ;)
Haha....I need to find someone that can do some custom work. I'm going to bastardize some gun with all those zones :) may as well be my XD since it's part done.

I just find this topic to be the stuff of comedic gold!

They probably had several Glocks in stock, and were out of Walthers...
    GLOCK Perfection.

After you replace a bunch of Glock parts for better ones...

My VP and Canik TP9 pistols have better triggers out of the box than any of my modded up Glocks. :/ Gotta try out the PPQ, almost bought a used one a couple of weeks ago... might have to take a closer look at it!

I shot a glock actually I tried a glock twice thinking I may have missed or overlooked something. Nope everything about it sucked. I do however like XDs and M&Ps quite well. I really liked the CZ SPO1 I had but it got traded for another XD and cash. I’ll probably be adding an FN or a Canik real soon. They are all good you just have to find what works for you and not what others try to brainwash you with.

Besides people being set off by Springfield or xd’s, they are good shooting guns. My xdm service model is a great shooting gun. Reliability wise I would dare say I trust it the most.

I had an XDm and PPX M1 for a while.

Liked both, but only have the PPQ now. More comfortable grip and better trigger.

Further evaluation and testing has netted me negative results. I think I will place the whole polymer pistol idea back on the shelf and perhaps revisit it in the future.

I am officially changing this thread to:
    My "first" revolver pistol

I don't own any revolvers and never have. I now have a desire to look into getting my first revolver. I have decided on having one in 38 special and with a 4 inch barrel. I am presently looking into the S&W Model 64 which seems to be a solid revolver or is it not? Any other revolvers that are similar to this one that I should consider?

Please keep in mind that my revolver knowledge is somewhat limited and I am not very well versed on their history although I seem to recall Dirty Harry carrying some kind of kick ass revolver that he killed the bad guys with but I don't even know what Kersey in Death Wish even used. LOL

The primary use of this revolver will be home protection and range use with the possibility of some concealed/open carry.

Why in 38 Special? If you get a 357 Magnum, it also shoots 38 Special. The Ruger GP 100 is a good one to start with, or as already mentioned, Ruger Redhawk.
