I miss you not being able to do that, too. However, there were too many people simply cutting and pasting entire articles, drawing letters from lawyers.
I know...

I only read about the first 20 posts, so I apologize if this has already been brought up. In my view, this is no different than me submitting footage to the PD from my dash cam of people blowing by school busses in a residential with the stop sign out and red lights flashing. The ISD is only providing the drivers complaint and footage to the PD. The PD issues the ticket.

I missed that part - Thankyou. Yea, the ISD needs to work with the PD then. Should be easy enough. The PD does not issue these fines. If they were, there would be criminal penalties for ignoring them. At worst they (county) can put a hold on your registration, though that doesn't seem to be done everywhere or in every case.
That's different from the school bus issue. I have big problems with red light cameras. That industry is so horrifically corrupt it beggars description. As far as cameras at a red light ... I can't say I'm really against that.
Wasn't long ago that I thought Guam was the worst for running red lights, you had to wait about six cars to go through after it turned red. Odessa and Midland are rapidly looking to break that string. Too many STUPID accidents and deaths around here. That's different from the school bus issue. I have big problems with red light cameras. I could go on and on and if anyone would like to, just start researching the topic online. That's a rabbit hole that could consume days of your time.
- In order to generate ticket revenue, cities have shortened yellow light times causing many more rear-end collisions.
- Tickets get issued to the wrong people and they find themselves in multiple Catch-22 situations trying to contest them.
- There has been at least one case of a visiting judge being dismissed from the bench for ruling in favor of people who have gotten red light camera tickets because even a single ruling might provide a legal precedent in that jurisdiction that the system isn't perfect.
Red light cameras should be outlawed everywhere. Where they're not outlawed, they should be shot.

Like everyone, I've seen far too many traffic control devices ignored. Two (non-accident) times stand out in my memory. In both cases, I was first in line at a red light. It turned green and I pulled out and through the intersection. Then I noticed in my rear view someone flying through the intersection behind me, all four tires locked up.you had to wait about six cars to go through after it turned red.
It gets worse daily around here it seems, and not enough enforcement to go around. It's one thing when people put their own lives in danger, these fools are putting everyone's life in danger.Like everyone, I've seen far too many traffic control devices ignored. Incidents like that make the stomach a bit queasy...
Get a POS, dash cam, and start letting them hit you.It gets worse daily around here it seems, and not enough enforcement to go around. It's one thing when people put their own lives in danger, these fools are putting everyone's life in danger.
It's the getting hurt or killed part that kind of shies me away from that.Get a POS, dash cam, and start letting them hit you.
If the problem is as common as some folks have alluded to, it seems to me, it would make it easy for a traffic patrol LEO to keep his upper management happy by filling his monthly ticket quota in short order. AND have days left over to collect additional revenue for the city or county. I’m certainly NOT in favor of “private enterprise” getting into the enforcement of traffic laws!
I was there a couple weeks ago, and we were headed to lunch and I had 3 people riding with me. Everyone started giving me a hard time saying they could tell I wasn’t from there by the way I stopped at red lights. It gets worse daily around here it seems, and not enough enforcement to go around.
