I have nothing. I don’t believe in hoarding supplies or being prepared with a bug out location.

There’s some truth to this. The older I have gotten and the more skills I pickup in my journey, I get what you’re saying. I still tend to hord things but the reality people would be in a situation they have to leave behind belongings isn’t absurd. Having to use a minimum amount of tooling can be a real thing.

I will say one item that goes everywhere with me, are work gloves. I recommend everyone building a bob to incorporate work gloves. Boots. Some other ppe. Chances are strong in order to make it, were all gonna have to work. This guy plans to avoid the need for a first aid kit.

Fort Hood federal land are government owned lands that don't shoot your head off.

We need to discuss this rancher. What's he got? Ammo? Beef? One could hope he starts shooting. In a hungry way. It'll be more meaningful. Must be something really good he's defending. For a curious mind, that'd be a bad thing. The deal is is everyone stays quiet. Live and let live.

I need more jars of peanut butter.

That curious mind probably got splattered by the first shot. The next probably won’t fair much better.

Meanwhile you’re wondering around the woods with a .22 in the same world you think this farmer will get attacked because someone heard a shot.

These end of the world games always get silly. Just stock up on snack cakes and hunker down in the vault for a while. Assume 90% or more of the population will die and you will probably be one of them. Then again, Killeen probably won’t change much.

If you start smoking people that are trying to feed themselves and children. As you eat steak. It'll rain on your day. People in a 5 man team will show up at your door and stop that $hit.

Shit will go wrong someday. It’s the scenarios that crack me up.

We got people sneaking around hunting Walskally wabbits with their .22s months after the world fell apart.

Bubba jean and the hill billy swat team storming the ranch house.

Wandering around all over Ft Hood because the military doesn’t give a **** while the world falls apart, for reasons.

It’s easy to survive the end when you just make up the rules in your head. Good luck. I’ve got plenty of snack cakes and a suit of T-60B power armor ready to go. Gonna wipe out bubba and the swat team with my gatling laser.

If it happens, I can drink fir a month or two. And I'm eating a metric crap ton of jerky.

I also have four sources of alternative cooking fuel.

Well, TGT will be gone so why would I want to keep on living.

Back in the summer of 2001, the book One Second After was released.

    https://g.co/kgs/9gUPgE

The gist is what it would be like one second after (and going forward) a wide spread EMP attack on the US and the resultant disabling of the power grid.

I challenge y’all to read it.

    I've read it.

If you have enough ammo, you don’t need anything else.

Everything else you need can be “acquired”

Seriously though, my grandparents had a hand pump well, a storm shelter full of canned fruits and veggies, chickens, and a large garden. Electricity was a luxury, not a necessity to them.

And you will be victorious and emerge unharmed in every gunfight you get into over supplies you chose not to store ....sounds right to me
