When I was a kid back in the 50's, if you did something wrong you got punished. If the punishment was severe enough, you quickly learned not to do it again.
Today the cops are the bad guys in the eyes of the media. If the TV tells you the cops over acted, you believe them. The guy did wrong and he paid the price. If he had stayed at home he would still be alive.
I personally believe social media is to blame for most of the problems we have in this country. In my 70 years of life, I have never seen our country so divided.
Lord help us all.
