Picked up a P365 from a local guy this weekend.

Called SIG this morning and they say it has a manufacture date of 06/03/18, everything is current, and needs nothing.

Based on pictures I've found online... this does not have the updated striker/firing pin, or the machined section for the trigger return spring. The SIG rep that I spoke to sounded like he never heard of these things, and that maybe they were possibly a case-specific situation. I'm calling B.S. because there is definitely a new firing pin/striker design.

Mine does have the barrel scallops for peening, and the XRAY sights

As for the mag spring deal, look for a line scratched on the back of your mags. If holding the mag upright and rounds pointed away from you, it would be a verticle line on the right side at the top. This seems to indicate that the mag spring is contacting the mag and it is believed that this is what causes the return spring to come loose.

I took my spring out and filed it down until it did not contact the mags and I have not had an issue. I am roight around 1000 rounds now.

My P-365 has a manufacture date of 5-15-18. I believe I have the old striker design and have noticed a light vertical scratch on the back of my Mag. However, I have to use a flashlight and pair of glasses to see it. Took it to the range Saturday and put another 100 rounds through her with no problems. That brings the total round count to 400. Still seeing the drag marks on the primers but the gunsmith who works at the range I use doesn't seem to think its a problem and has also advised me against replacing my striker with an after market version. At this point I'm pretty confident that my particular firearm is trustworthy!!

I think the drag marks are somewhat normal. It's the barrel lockup while the striker is still against the primer. No real fix for something like that.

I have the original striker and SIG tells me there is no update. Which is BS.

Yea they do rolling changes and like to act like they don't. Don't wanna tell everyone there might be something wrong with the gun they currently have until there is something wrong with the gun they currently have. I saw the same magazine scratches with my p365. I could feel the end of the spring with my finger. I took mine out of the chassis and flipped it. No more scratching. I also recommend getting a Lightning striker. 100 bucks and not an MIM part.

Had a friend buy a P365 and his trigger return spring popped out after 30 rounds. Meanwhile I have around 500 without a real problem...though I did do preventative replacement and tweaks.

It is sig day at my range and I had the pleasure to compare p365 and P938. They are about the same size with the former being striker fired and latter a subcompact 1911. My P938 jammed a few times during the first 30 rounds and have been problem free since then. Personally I feel quite comfortable with carrying a cocked P938 with thumb safety on.

Btw I checked YouTube and there are some folks complaining about the thumb safety on P938.
