I have a want, 1 beat up ole coach gun in 20 ga. Or 12 ga.
I can't say just why I want one. But I wanna go shoot it someplace.
I'd like real hammers on it too. But not required.
I have not bothered to shoot my Rem. 870 in over a decade. But its still a great gun and I love it.
However the owning of a double barrel old western looking shotgun stays on my mind. I bought a 30.30 for the same reason. I liked the idea of it. Did not however like shooting it. Did not keep it long. But got it out of my system. Getting older and am more sensitive to recoil. Maybe not a 12 ga., just a 20 ga. or even a .410.
It's like that song that gets stuck in your brain. When I think about guns, my mind goes directly to a coach gun. Been this way for months. Am I alone or do you you guys come down with the wants occasionally.

You need to track the SASS classifieds and consider cowboy action shooting. It's a hoot...very low recoil 3G fun shoots is how I describe it.

A .410 SxS would be AWESOME! But, knowing the Elves in this region like I do, they won't be bringing it. Think I pee'd in somebodies Wheaties this year.

My Santa list is just to get a Mosin to fix up. I might shoot it once, then just keep it to look at. I've wanted one for a few years now. Should have bought one when they were around $100

I want my old Browning Citori 3" 12 ga O/U back.
Long story about why I no longer have it.
I just want it back, or one just like it.
Don't care if I ever shoot it again, just want one.
Wonder if Santa would listen ... Hmmmm

Santa should be bringing me a Wilson Combat Centurion Tactical for Christmas but if he decides that I have not been a good boy this year then I will just buy it myself.

Ever seen the final auction price on the one that did sell. you could have bought a house with that much money.
I should have been clearer. There have been lots of .45 Lugers from several sources over many decades past - Martz, Krausewerke, Nedbal Werle, etc. Most don't work very well. I was talking about the new ones from LugerMan that seem to function pretty well, at least with hardball.
