Just came back from Vegas and NFR was in town. Lots of cowboys and cowgirls in all kind of boots. Country music playing everywhere I wonder what is played when AVN comes to town

    Complaining about shiny black boots.
    Here's one of mine.
    I bought these in 1978, or 79.
    Lucchese tail cut cayman.
I wore them every day at the time, most of my travel was on a motorcycle then.
They've been resoled at least 6 times.

That’s closer to a riding heel than a walking heel. Most folks prefer a walking heel due to comfort.
    Yep.
The traditional riding heels, with that front taper, being difficult to walk in, and with the advent of the pickup over the horse, the modern "walking" heels are not nearly as tapered, but still tall enough to not go through the stirrups as easily.
Actually, that heel identifies this boot as the Maxwell Smart model. That heel is designed to contain a telephone.
