Just came back from Vegas and NFR was in town. Lots of cowboys and cowgirls in all kind of boots. Country music playing everywhere I wonder what is played when AVN comes to town

A guy I work with was there too. I'm surprised he made it home...

Well us old guys figgered out a few decades ago..cowboy boots are made for cowboys and cute cow girls. Only thing that goes on my feet is Bates Ultra Lites 8 inch tops with the side zippers. Their virtues are too numberous to mention..Santa is headed my way with a new pair supposedly. The old ones are nearly wore out.

No boot you put on your feet feels as good as a pair Lucchese. Bought a pair when Palace Boot Shop on Prairie St. went out of business around 2000, still in great shape. Paid $175 for a $500 pair

There’s nothing wrong with your boots. The fairer sex has been customizing and colorizing forever. That’s to be expected.
I got them for $20 at a close out event. And they are well made ($200 ish retail, Cinch brand). I thought they were butt ugly at the time, but for $20!!?! So pulled trigger. With jeans only the black/ blue shows.

I love to wear them now. They are comfy and I get stopped about every twenty minutes by someone asking about them each time I wear them out.

Yep, take care of them and they last forever.
As stated, mine are ~40 years old. I've worn boots every day since....

Bought that pair in 1973, the year I got out of the Army and went back to shoeing horses until I got my civilian legs back, and finally got my fill of dance halls and beer joints.

AAMOF, they still have a few "Cotton Eyed Joe" scars on them.

IRRC they were just North of $100 at the time, used my discharge check, which also had 30 days paid leave in it. Damn if I wasn't in tall cotton with those boots on ...
