    I enjoy all 3!

Lotta nice stuff in the pic.
That IR Hunter Thermal jumped out at me. I bagged a chicken-stealing fox with mine last week. Premium tool, it is. Mated to my Gemtech MIST-22 it's plenty stealthy. Counting clicks when moved from gun to gun is a pain. Have you upgraded the firmware, as It's supposed to show the windage and elevation click-off-center number, I think.

Yes premium tool for sure. Price is steep... but I haven't regretted buying one second.

I have not updated. I just got it last fall. I will research and see how to do that. Thanks for the heads up.

I still gotta hook up my dvr to it.

Ok.. I bought the MK3. You were referring to buying the MK2 and upgrading the software to a MK3?

    Exactly.

The "upgrades" range from $995 to $3,495

I think the $995 MKII to MKIII upgrade is mostly just software with the actual imaging hardware untouched.
The higher-priced upgrades involve inserting higher power optics. I think I prefer the wider field of view over the higher magnification since 99% of time behind it is open scanning rather than shooting. Just my .02.

Great gear is costy. It's great gear.

I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to decide on the 35mm or 60mm. I'm very happy I went 35mm. 60mm would had been too narrow. 35mm has a nice FOV and I don't mind zooming 2x and 4x when need be.
