    popper,

I truly HOPE that you're CORRECT & that US District Judge Sullivan slaps the Witch Hunters hands HARD & dismisses the case against LTG Flynn, forthwith, with prejudice.

What I just cannot believe (as a former SDUSM, who once worked for a US District Judge) is that when the Judge demanded an UNREDACTED copy of EVERY document the FBI possesses on the Flynn case, that the FBI delivered an incomplete set of REDACTED documents. =
I can assure everyone that Judge Tim Ellis, for whom I worked, would have been LIVID.

Judge Sullivan should lock up the responsible party for CONTEMPT of COURT for failing to deliver EVERYTHING (which the FBI was ordered to deliver for his reading) & keep him in jail until he gets EVERYTHING that he ordered to be produced.

I remember Trump saying he was going to clean out the swamp once he got elected.
Hell, Washington is soooo corrupt you can't tell one player from another one. It is all about money and power to these people.
I once read that a politician is in his office only one day a week on average. The rest of the time they are out fund raising or giving speeches. Wasting taxpayer money to raise campaign funds.

Mueller is the head swamp rat, DC is far left, greed is king, but media spins it
as against Trump when in truth it is against the American voter. The elites
decide who wins and loses not us. Corruption is deep as in Mexico just more
    sophisticated.

Too bad the general public can't see through the fog.
The TV news was saying the Democratic fund raisers were looking at mating Biden and O'Rourke (sp?) for the 2020 Presidential campaign. Another case of the super rich selecting those that will benefit them the most. To hell with the dumb general public (sheep).

    OLDVET,

ImVho, it's HARD to tell whether Joe Biden or Robert (called: Beto) O'Rourke is the less intelligent, less dishonest or less fit, by reason of obvious character/moral flaws, to be POTUS but neither is fit to serve in any "office of public trust", including the local city council.

    EZ-E,

That's why I favor a CITIZEN'S CONGRESS of the sort that the authors of The Constitution intended, an end to serving more than 8 years in federal elective/appointive office, an end to soliciting/accepting/offering ANYTHING of value (Even a burger basket & a Coke) from any paid lobbyist & an end to pensions forever.
I also favor the CD/State, from which the member serves, setting their member's salary/expenses AND repealing the 17th Amendment.
(Our Founding Fathers were 100% CORRECT. = Senators should represent the legislature of their own State.)

Even my home CD, which is quite rural & relatively poor would figure out how to keep our member from losing their farm/business/practice for that few years AND we would welcome being able to set/pay his/her salary.
Further, I suspect that we would pay our Congress-critter a LOT less than the current amount.

To quote Will Rogers, "We get the government that we deserve."

    just my OPINIONS, satx

Putting an absolute limit on the amount that could be spent on any Federal election campaign would be easier to implement. Although it would be politically difficult to put that genie back in the bottle, short of a National emergency ... but we're headed in that direction in any event.

Term Limits, Income approved by CD/State, no more full salary pension plan and no more "golden parachute burial policy"; all determined by constitutional amendment so the can't vote themselves back in paradise.
But it will never ever happen without a revolution....those insiders and those
wannabes will never let it happen!!!!!!
