Have an opportunity to pick up a Burris FF3 for $70. Basically new, guy got it in a combo deal with a 1-4X scope.

Anybody have or use one? What are your thoughts.

Probably end up putting it on a PCC or maybe a Buckmark pistol. Maybe a full size pistol but doubt I’ll invest in having the slide cut so it’s unlikely.

Been running a FF3 for a while now...It has sat on a 10/22, KSG, and more recently, as a secondary on an AR10 platform, thing just runs like a champ.

ETA: I'll take it if you decide you don't want it! ;)

I also have one on a MKIII. It runs great. It's easy to acquire the dot and put rounds on target. My cousin has one on an FNAR mounted with a scope. He also loves it. As far as I have seen, they dont lose 0 on 308 rifles or my hard hitting 22.

    That's a smoking deal.

Lots of folks used to put FF2s on their Uzi SMGs. The 3 version fixes the few gripes ppl had with the earlier ones. You no longer need to remove the sight to change batteries. If I didn't already have a RMR on my Uzi I'd put a FF instead.

I snagged a FF3 during the mad Academy 33% off sale and put it on my Ruger .22 but haven't gone to the range yet.

I wouldn’t hesitate to run another FF3, especially at that price. I advise you to get your hands on and run a few rounds through an optics mounted pistol...they’re tons of fun.

I might consider it, but it the only pistol I’ve thought about putting one on is a suppressed PPX. Not counting the stamp I’ve only got $500 invested between the can and the gun. Hard to justify the cost of the slide work to mount it.

My wife has been running one on her Springfield loaded 9mm 1911 in carry optic's division of IDPA and loves it.

Burris makes a bunch of FF3 custom mounts. The Ruger MK III Mount is a nice conformal fit that looks custom. I have three of them and never had a problem.

It is not even sport shooting a soda can at 20 yards. It is way too easy.

If you don't want it i'll give you the $70.00 for it :) Stop by the EGW website as they have a bunch of reflex sight mounts that use the rear sight channel for the mount which means no milling of the slide.
