Welcome to the forum. Since you’re running a grill guard now, I assume you’ll want one on your bumper. So I’d say either Ranch Hand or Cattleman.

My current project is an '87 Alfa Romeo Milano... I needed to know what a Milano in good health was like so a local Alfisti let me try his out! I've decided to vlog the build of mine. Please subscribe to my youtube channel to follow along and help keep me motivated :D

    Classic.
Great cars if you can service them affordably.

I’ve got some fun history with Alfa

The gal who hired me into my former career (who ended up working for me later LOL) drove nothing but Alfas.
She still drives a 164 on the daily.

My first car was a 1966 Guilia Sprint GT.
112 furious horsepower never sounded so good

Haha, yeah the Italians know how to make a car sound great... Did you hang onto it? Those things have really skyrocketed in price.

I bought it waaaaay back in 1988.
    Paid $2500
    Put $2500 into maintenance
Sold it for $2500 a year later

A 20-year-old finicky Italian car wasn’t really a great daily driver for a 16-year-old with minimal mechanical skills LOL

    Yeah they’re pricey.

The alternate car that I nearly bought was a 327 66 Impala SS, all original, that I could have bought for $2500.

My Vietnamese mom thought it looked like “a Mexican car” and wouldn’t let me buy it.

I think the Impala would have appreciated nicely as well

Ah yeah, mechanical skills are a necessity. I daily drove a 77 FIAT Spider from age 18 to about 23. Didn't really give me any problems, but they do require more maintenance than a Chevy... Parts were not expensive so as long as you can work on it yourself it's not a big deal.

Working on this at the moment. It started out as just an eyesore because of all the stains I couldn't scrub off with simple green. I've gotten so into this now, I'm looking at adding on additional front marker lights, interior lights, interior basket shelves, a tool box that slides to the front on rollers (with slide locks), standard size wheels, and new hinges. I'm currently using it as a storage unit for a lot of my wood working stuff, so I may make it like more of a mobile wood working trailer. If I do it right, I may be able to access everything I need without unloading the whole trailer to get things. Then, when needed I can unload it to use it for other things like helping the wife with her vending.

Couple of thoughts on the trailer, Jeremy. I’m sure you’ve already hit the wheel bearings, but how weight capacity do you have?

Mobile workshop, Is want leveling or support jacks to stabilize it when working

LED lighting is your friend, and lots of it. Generator over inverter and a well thought out load plan for the electrical.

Some people like Line-X or similar coating for the floor, but if there’s going to be sawdust inside, that can be a pain to clean up.

You should just get another one for her vending.

Thanks Todd. Yea, it's not going to be big enough to work inside, so I'm not too worried about leveling or saw dust. It's just gonna be an oversized fancy tool box, really. I have bearings ready to go, waiting for a good day to do it. No big trips planned for the next month, so I'm not too worried. Already did the LED upgrade - they're not that much more, so might as well. I'm debating on the generator. I'll really have this be used in the driveway, so there will always be outlets. Buuuuut, it could be useful for when we're out vending with it. I forgot to mention I want to install a roof vent to help keep it less stuffy, and make it so the door doesn't stick due to a vacuum like it did when I picked this up in FL.

A work trailer is always a nice thing to have.

I know our needs are different but I just rebuilt the front of mine and you may get some ideas.

When I built it I had limited materials so made due with toolboxes that I already had. I thought they were going to be great at keeping organized but they just waste too much space.

    The before pictures.

After taking out the boxes and building shelves. I still have a ton of organizing to do but the big work is done.

I did add two more LED lights (which run off the brake battery so they work without being hooked up to the truck) but didn't do much to anything behind where the toolboxes were.
