While we are addressing females, let me just say, the women folk can wreck a razor blade. It's like have steel wire for leg hair. My razor would last three times longer if not for female types wrecking it with their leg hairs.

I don't even give a shit about "conventional sex roles". Some girl wanting to become a welder on an oil rig and support her stay at home husband and her non-binary identifying children? Bully for her! But the whole theme of the ad was "if you're a white male, you're probably trash"... that I find highly objectionable.

I agree with your train of thought.

But Butch lesbians aren’t the target of “toxic masculinity”.

The target is white male patriarchy, just as you mention, and that’s a conventional sex/gender role

I've been using the multi blade disposables that are much cheaper than the gillette refills.

For those doing the boycotting, is it just gillette or all of P&G brands? I'm no fan of the gillette ad and have no issue never buying their stuff again. If it's all of P&G, I've got some research to do for a couple of other items.

I haven't considered trying a double edge razor. I learned to shave with one, but honestly haven't even seen one in years. I also don't remember how well they do or don't work. I tend to shave in the shower these days in front of one of those little stick on the wall mirrors. Just water and a razor. No shaving cream or soap. Just quick and easy.

I might need to switch shampoo.
Kraft has me by the short curlies on coffee though.
