I was looking at a nice used S&W 442 for $350 locally from an individual and checked the CDNN site and saw these for $340 on sale
They also have the LCR without the hammer spur.
    Anyone have one of these?
I’ve seen one with a grip that has a built in clip for IWB carry

    I had a LCR in 38 Special.

It was a great gun. The trigger pull was pretty decent and it was plenty accurate.

This was shortly after they came out and before any CCW clips, lasers, or better sights were available.

I carried it in my pocket toobin' and didn't have any rust or corrosion issues at all. The ammo shot fine after that too.

I have been on the lookout for a used 357 Magnum version but will probably buy new since they don't pop up for sale at a decent price very often.

I had the 3" version of the LCRx. Didn't like it enough to keep it, that was 2 years ago. Just picked up a 2" LCR in .38 spl. Shot it today at the range and still don't like the Ruger way of doing this. The trigger pull was good, but the bite was something awful. I had a S&W 442 for about 5 years and regret the day I sold it.

In the end, it's up to your preference. If it was me in a do over, I'd get the 442. Still bites, they are after all really light, but I just like that the 442 doesn't rattle while the LCR does.

    Just my own opinion.

I've got a LCRx in 38 and I do like the trigger but I like my S&W 642 better.
The S&W fits in my pocket better.

I'm intrigued by it, it cant see the advantage over a 38
A more plentiful round. Most of my handguns are in 9mm. I’m more interested in adding more revolvers in my arsenal at this point, too.

5/6 rounds and you're out, not for me......

    I want ammo capacity.

Recall just recently the 4 thug home invasion?

Think 5/6 rounds would be enough?

    Me neither.....

I love my snubbies. 5 is enough if you can keep yourself under control. If you are only happy at the end of a double stack mag. you are not in control. Like my snubbies to have single action abilities. All revolvers have hammers, expose them. Like any weapon. You get out of them what you invest in training. And last of all, Learn your weapon. Don't just add crap till you think its good. You must learn how to use the tool, not the other way around
