Unless you're living with your head in the sand you're aware of a movie about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, On the Basis of Sex.

My question is why now? Why a movie about her? The movie has grossed less than $18 million, so someone is going to take a bath on this.

What kind of scam is Hollyweird running here?

Cuz she is gonna croak soon? Movie could tank financially but the left can use it to indoctrinate young impressionable females and point to her as a great female leader.
I already had one female friend post about an awakening after seeing it. They want equal pay but never follow it up with equal work.

Do you guys even know what she is famous for?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Bader_Ginsburg
"Legal scholars and advocates credit Ginsburg's body of work with making significant legal advances for women under the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution."

What exactly is wrong with equal protection under the law? We should all be for that, left and right alike.
Nothing wrong with equal protection in theory but the left does not want equality, they want special dispensation. If it is like this now, what makes you think it wasn't like that then? I guess the other alternative is that her intentions back then we're true but once she became a judge, she became a leftist? I think it was the former.

Again, I am for equal pay........ With equal work.

I've been happily living with my head in the sand, so I had no idea. But I can tell you why.

The leftist elites think the rest of the country all believes the same things they do, and when they see the Dems gain seats in Congress, they take that as a sign the whole country has shifted and is ready to rally around what they consider to be these wonderful feel good stories.

I hope everyone here sends them words of encouragement to continue their pursuit. Hopefully they'll take the next step soon and all volunteer to ban guns, violence, car racing, etc. from any future movies. We'll see how long they last with that move.

    Nothing

What about her other opinions? Especially where our Second Amendment Rights are concerned?

Where exactly is that clause in the Constitution? The 14th Amendment, yet the Wikipedia article about the 14th Amendment never mentions her, not once.

From her article "As the director of the ACLU's Women's Rights Project, she argued six gender discrimination cases before the Supreme Court between 1973 and 1976, winning five.[20] Rather than asking the court to end all gender discrimination at once, Ginsburg charted a strategic course, taking aim at specific discriminatory statutes and building on each successive victory." So, she perfected incrementalism in American law, which is still the Progressive roadmap today. That's her "gift".

Agreed, she has not been our friend on guns. But I was commenting on her equal rights advocacy, which is what the movie is about.
Equal rights huh? Obviously you don't know much about the women's movement. I would put the women's equal rights movement in the same class as affirmative action. Watch the movie "The Red Pill", you might learn a bit about the women's movement.
