It could have went in a bad direction for both parties. It would suck to be the LEO once he found out he killed a fellow LEO. I know I would feel bad knowing one if my brothers made a bad decision & had to take him out.

I just want to know what the error in judgement was. The guy is an error of judgement and should be strung up.
Drinking on the clock? Drinking while on a stakeout where his services could be the difference between life or death at any moment? Drinking while armed? Drinking while on prescription medication? Drinking while in control of a vehicle?
This is a blatant abuse of the police taking care of their own.
