Nothing wrong with Evan Williams, Jim Beam Black, I like Buffalo Trace as well, even drink a bottle of Knob Creek on occasion.

Now that Crown Mesquite Limited Texas Edition I’m gonna have to give that stuff away to guest that stop by. Nasty stuff.

Long time coming but I have a box of Fireball in the fridge. My wife just had our 4th kiddo 1 week ago. (Finally got a girl). First thing she told me while she was still in recovery was that she wanted a Firrball and rootbeer.

P.S. the box of Fireball is actually 2 1.75L sacks in a box. Think of a box of wine.

Not my even my 10th choice but the better half just spent 9 months off the wagon. It's the least I could do.

I did something I rarely ever do this weekend.. I blended two whiskeys together to make a unique flavor of my own.
    - I mixed 1 oz of Four Roses, with 1 oz of Knob Creek Bourbon (my two favorites)
    - Added 4 drops of Angostura Bitters
    - Added a splash of water from the tap to beat back the 100 proof of the Knob.
    - Add one ice cube.

In a Glencairn glass, it tasted like liquid Christmas Eve.
Had a natural sweet release, and was smooth.

I will do this again for sure.

There’s a place in Steamboat Springs that does this quite a bit. They’ve put together some really amazing flavor profiles from existing brands.

I bought some Kollea stainless steel ice cubes the other week after reading some good reviews about that brand.

Haven’t gotten a chance to try them yet. Was hoping to drink an Irish whiskey, Green Spot, while watching the Cruz/O’Rourke debate from Houston but it didn’t happen. Thought it would be nice to drink a phenomenal Irish whiskey and watch the little Irish boy get pummeled by Cruz.

Just heard of something that piqued my interest. It's a beer called 'Utopias' from Samuel Adams. The thing about it is, it's a 51 proof beer and is aged like a whiskey for two years (?) so all the flavors meld together.

Anybody ever heard of this, or tried this before?
