The ARTful dodger makes over $260,000 a year, his wife was GIVEN a job @ Houston Airport Systems for over $260,000 a year. The mayor could not pay him all at one time his wife was given a job to make up for it.

Well, since theres no way to tell the bad cop from the good cop, in the heat of the moment, they kinda are in on it

    Guilty until proven innocent

Yeah, who needs innocent until proven guilty anyway? There is a way to tell - thru the investigation. Let's pretend there are some good cops and they went along to serve the warrant. Hell, they were betrayed just like the couple that was killed.

It must have been something else you recall. I am well aware of 30.05. Unless we were discussing why 30.06/07 are necessary. When the CHL law first passed 30.05 didn't except CHL. There are philosophical differences on that impact
Maybe. I don't remember the details, and I was citing it as the single time I've ever believed you to be wrong about a claim of fact in all the posts of yours that I've seen.

So you don’t believe in the right to a fair trial, or do you believe the assumption of innocence should only apply to certain crimes?

Just trying to figure out where you stand.

It was more a rhetorical question. Of course everyone should have due process at the hands of the law. But it's especially heinous when the agents charged with enforcing that law work and deceive to subvert it. I'm inclined to think that should be kept in mind when considering the punishment. But what does it say about the institution at large?

Honest question because I haven’t been following all the links.

Is this information based on verifiable reports or is it the product of speculations (with or without merit) and rumor?

Ex: I’ve seen several posts stating the the man was rumored to be legally blind and as the thread progressed the word “rumored” was dropped and the legally blind aspect now seems to be accepted as fact without any posting that I’m aware of which confirms he was actually legally blind.

He was reportedly 'disabled' - not sure if he was blind or not, but I've read in several places where that was unofficially reported. That's what started me wondering about how the guy made 4 hits with a wheelgun, I know it's possible but it's not likely.
Ass-evado is evading, as usual, trying to blame Goines when he himself oversaw Goines - who was a known rogue cop with numerous complaints and lawsuits related to fabricated evidence.
Sadly, the est thing to come out of this is that it's probably going to occupy 3C - Ass-evado, the Cuban California Commie - the entire legislative session and keep him from begging for stricter gun laws. The Legislature has better things to do than listen to that clown!

If the rationale for no knock drug warrants is because drug dealers will flush their product, wouldn’t it just be cheaper, safer and more effective to knock on their door every day? Eventually they’d just go out of business.
