I'm not one to get excited about new calibers. I prefer my 30/30, .243, and even my .22 Hornet to most of the new stuff.
BUT, this new cartridge bests the 30/30,: with a 35 caliber projection, in a straight walled cartridge, begging to be used in an AR platform. And it does it with, reportedly, less recoil and less of a report.
Reportedly, the ammo will be "inexpensive", as in $10 per 20 rounds. It kinda sounds like a beefed up .30 carbine.
I'm gonna watch this one.
