I just got back from trying out my new Tisas Regent SS pistol. First impression love it. Shot great even with mag disconnect which I will do away with no hammer bite. Shot 165 rounds Indepence aluminum case and S&B only 2 failure to complete ejection with aluminum. Brass flawless. All hardball no HP yet. Will need wider grips small for my hands need better purchase on grip. Sites shoot little low need get used to them. Handling great only complaint is grips little small for my hands. Fairly accurate a good shooter will certainly do better than my old eyes plus was indoors not best lighting. Will do better outside in better light I feel like bit still not bad for first outing mostly in black of target I’m happy

I shot my Tisas alongside my Browning today and this is my take. Both don’t like aluminum cases ammo Browning especially. Both shot great about equal accuracy even though old Browning is lot looser frame to slide, really didn’t affect accuracy. Browning trigger better even with mag safety still in gun. Tisas still has it also I might remove it then take up would be diffently smoother. That where real difference feels anyway is on take on trigger. Safety Browning hands down better Tisas needs to be either smoother or replaced. I have been working it trying smooth it up still very stiff hard disengage. I put Hogue grips on Tisas made big difference for my hands will do same for Browning. Tisas looks like it’s parent side by side except finish of course. I’m very happy with Tisas might need try snag a blue one in future . I think it’s a keeper very well built pistol held its own with Browning. In fact it shot my reloads great very very happy
    Thanks

Are you aware that’s another John Moses Browning design? Ƒigured I should point that out after your previous post.
Seems like I did hear that tidbit somewhere previously, but it is always good to get a memory refresher. If I ever get over my various phobias about single action pistols will check it out. Thanks.
