Bought my first ever non Gillette razors yesterday.

They sent me a razor for my 18th birthday and I have been a customer ever since. 25 years or so.

Not any more. Done with you.

I'm happy to say I've been using Schick razors and Edge shaving cream for many years. I'm glad I'm not giving money to Gillette, although it's almost impossible not to buy some P&G products these days, dammit.

The Schick Hydro 5 is a good razor.

    What did you get?
HEB had some good Schick disposables on clearance so I grabbed them. Three blades so about the same as my Mach 3.

They sell safety blades but no razor for them or would have gone that route probably.

    So nothing fancy yet.

Once all my Mach 3 blades and these disposables are gone I will get a long term replacement. It will be a while though.

I work for a large public company. Our corporate policy is that we don't make political contributions. Our job is to make money for our shareholders. Period. The board and the officers of the company are not there to achieve social justice or to take sides between political parties. (We do, however, have programs that support veterans and first responders. If some commie bastard doesn't like that, they can go suck eggs.)

This policy keeps the company from having any political stroke, but it also keeps us from offending half of our customer base at any point in time.

The employees are, of course, free to donate their own money however they want to.

In my opinion, this is how a public company should operate.

    Schick disposable Extreme.
They are green and black with three blades.
The eight pack goes for under $2 a razor.

You can't be lectured if you fail to listen.....and I do...fail to listen to these geeks.

quick question: Why are so-called social justice warriors called 'warriors'?

I thought they were all peace, love, dove, lgbhiv, anti-gun, etc.

Wouldn't a warrior be exhibiting "toxic male syndrome'...?

I don’t give a crap what they say, it’s what they do with the money I exchange for their product.

If proceeds from every sale go to support things I disagree with, then I have to make a decision of the value of the product excepts my personal GAF factor.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t.
